10 seats in North at risk!

Willie Rennie ; Dunfermline by-election winner!

Willie Rennie's stunning victory in Dunfermline is a huge snub to the Labour Government, and Gordon Brown (who lives in the constituency) in particular.

The swing from Labour to the Liberal Democrats in the Dunfermline by-election would, if repeated in an election in our region, result in 10 Labour-held constituencies falling to the Liberal Democrats!

The constituencies of City of Durham, Newcastle Central, Blaydon, Newcastle North, Hartlepool, Blyth Valley, Newcastle East and Wallsend, Bishop Auckland, Wansbeck and Redcar would all fall to the Liberal Democrats on the swing seen in Dunfermline.

The arrogance and complacency of the Labour Party is finally coming home to roost!
