Manifesto for 2007 Local Elections is published

Today, Darlington Liberal Democrats published their Manifesto for the 2007 Local Elections. You can download this document by following the link at the top of the left hand menu: "Our Manifesto for the 2007 local elections".

The Darlington Liberal Democrats' Manifesto for the local elections, May 2007 promises a re-invigorated local democracy, bringing a new openness, responsiveness and accountability to local government in Darlington, with power devolved to local communities. It commits us to make Darlington a leader in introducing Green initiatives, with a commitment to a sustainable, environmentally-friendly local administration. It promises high quality, value for money, professional local services, delivered democratically.
