Darlington Liberal Democrats' Parliamentary Candidate
Cllr Mike Barker is the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Darlington Constituency. Mike has lived in Darlington for 23 years and has three grown up children who all went to local schools and colleges. Mike is the owner of The Health Warehouse, a large independent health shop and wholefood bakery in Post House Wynd, Darlington Mike is a councillor for North Road ward and a Governor of North Road Primary School. He led the campaign in 2006 to stop Tesco opening a superstore in Darlington town centre. Our Parliamentary Candidate in 2001 and 2005 was Robert Adamson. Robert is a Vice-President of the national Liberal Democrats, with responsibility for disability issues, and a member of the Federal Policy Committee.
